The good , the great and everything in between
We reached the place by around 1.30 PM. Its rich serene beauty caught our eyes the moment we stepped out of the van. The only expression you could see in everyone's face was 'WOW!!' It was beautiful.. river flowing amidst the greenery and right next to the camp. The place was very peaceful, well, not after we reached :P. We hogged on our delicious lunch. I must admit, the food there was really amazing and the maintainance was irreproachable...

A Fabulous place!
I was traveling around the Chikmagulur area on business when I stopped over for the night at the Bhadra River Camp. The place is just fabulous, simply out of the world. Set on the banks of the Bhadra river, right next to the reserve forest, this is the place to be at if you want to rough it out. Vinod and their team are just great. They are very cordial, and go out of their way to help out on any thing. The best part for me was the fishing. The river's teeming with fish, big and small. I managed to hook a couple of big ones, lucky me. Long and short, you can be assured of a good time.

Really Beautiful.
Wow the place is as amazing and beautiful as expected. The nature makes people feel so relaxed. The food is yummy. Especially the fish and the crabs. I loved the place. Will definitely come back. The hospitality is great. Everyone took care of us so wel. Staff is very helpful and he surely knows in and out of this place. We missed seeing the animals. Next time will not miss it.. Thanks to everyone.

Amazing, beautiful place and good hosts. The staff are all friendly and ensured the safety of the visitors. The place is maintained very well and I appreciate their efforts in maintaining the environment as well. Having another restroom will definitely help. Awesome and unforgettable trip in my lifetime. We had an amazing stay!
The staff were truly the best host anyone can find. they were always ensuring that we had everything we wanted! They went out of their way to get us the biggest catch ever!! Their fried fish rocks!! The food served was soo simple and soo tasty!!!! The campsite is so well maintained, not a bit of plastic or paper anywhere!! The staff was so helpful, running behind us, getting everything we wanted, making sure we were safe in the water, watching over us, getting us hot coffee when it was pouring!!! A big thanks since one of you was always around when any of us were near the water! The tents were very comfortable, we slept so well!!! even more comfortable than at the resorts:) The water was amazing. The staff managed to get me -a totally water shy person stay calm in the water:) that takes a lot:) The others did not want to get out of the water!! The place is perfect the way it is and only the ones who really appreciate nature would want to visit. Very often after we go on weekend trips or go on a vacation, we always think wow it was good we should go back !and that never happens cos there is always something which makes you think twice when it comes to it.This is definitely a place we will come back to!

One Fastastic trip!
We obviously came with a lot of expectations after having read the website, mailers, etc and an equally strong suspicion that this might turn into a disappointment - either a highly commercial place with all its trap or a place that is not yet ready to take on guests. In other words, we expected a disappointing experience. But we couldn't have been more wrong. It was an absolutely amazing experience. The riverside camping by the moonlight, the bird calls in the morning, clean quiet waters . Fantastic! nature at its best without the commercial traps. In one word, we are all DELIGHTED. We'd definitely come again! All the best and please make sure you keep the place the way it is today.
