Are there vehicle restrictions in the camp?
Vehicles are allowed in the campsite.

What is there to see in the camp?
The camp, riverside and the forest area in itself are true paradise. There are around 400 species of birds which make the
western ghats their home. Though there are native populations of Bisons, Sambhars, deer, Langur, wild hogs, and the smooth
coated otter in the forests around the camp, their sightings lately have become extremely rare.

What is the best time of year to visit the camp?
Most people visit the camp during the dry and winter seasons. In the rainy seasons, access to the river is often restricted or
barred in total and the surrounding forests get leech infested too.

Can I bring my pet to the camp?
Pets are allowed in the camp, but you'll have to ensure its always on a leash.

Is Internet access available in the camp?
We have no internet access in the camp.

Will my cell phone work in the camp?
Cell service is available in and near the camp to Airtel and BSNL customers (you may get a weak signal elsewhere in forest as well). If you have any information to add, please let us know.

Is camping still available in the rains? How comfortable is it to camp?
Camping is available in the rains. Though we operate the camp with much fewer guests.

Do we need to bring our own camping gear such as tents and sleeping bags?
We give everything an average person needs to have a comfortable stay. Mattresses, pillows, sheets, blankets, all of which will be well laid out when you drop in. And until you leave, the tent is all yours. We also use very spacious tents. With some which can comfortably accommodate 12 people. In short, there is nothing which you need to carry specifically for camping.

What are the restroom/bath facilities like? Are they shared/common for all guests at the campsite or are they separate?
The restrooms are well maintained, have western closets with stocked toilet paper, and other standard fittings. The bathrooms are maintained hygienically. If you have a party large enough however, we do not entertain more guests, in which case all the restrooms are yours.For families we have new house with attached bathrooms.

Can we make reservations for the camp from Bangalore?
You of course can. Upon finalizing a date, we will pass you the account details where you could transfer a token advance.

Is the forest accessible in the rains? If not, what are the other activities?
Depends completely on the days before your visit. If it had rained a lot, forest areas have a lot of leeches. We don't really
suggest guests for a trek then.

What about my safety?
The whole campsite is child friendly. Its a flat piece of land adjacent to the river and has no rocks or slopes to worry with. The campsite again has no thick vegetation or shrubbery thus giving you maximum visibility and safety.

What all do we need to carry?
Please do carry torches and umbrellas. The campsite is lit up to the point where it is necessary. Torch lights come in handy in
any campsite. Perhaps if you decide to explore the area around, you would need one. Ensure your party has a few. For your
treks, decent outdoor boots or sneakers will help and we strictly advise you not to wear sandals and slip-ons. We also suggest
you do not carry gold. But we sure can't stop you from carrying expensive things like your ipods, mobiles, your cameras. Please ask the staff if you'd like them to be stocked in the office room.

Is there road Access to the camp?
The campsite is in a location where we have a well laid, tarred access road. So, your car should come in without any problems. From the tarred road, the walk to the campsite is less than fifty meters and winds through a coffee estate. You should have no problems reaching the campsite.

How is the weather now?
Weather in the area is typical and does not usually sway a lot. Bring clothes as appropriate.
